Sad vs happy

I just listened to a very sad song after listening to a very happy song....why do they have such a pull on my emotions? Sad....somber, dull, dark, dull, and drab are definitions for this dreary word....who the hell wants to be sad?? Pleasure, contentment, joy...now that is what I am talking about....time to get some more happy music back on my radio....just saying those words takes me back to my happy place! : )
